Christmas

Happy Christmas, Holidays, festival of lights. I just got home from watching that movie the AVATAR! It was pretty kick ass, especially the sexy army guy, I guess he cant kick though since he lost the use of his legs. ANYWAYS! My brother told me it got bad reviews, I dont know why! The maker of the Titanic is awesome dont give him bad reviews! I feel like it hit to close to home so maybe people got pissed, it sort of made army heads look like d-bags. Pretty much its about the U.S going to the planet Pandora to harvest this mineral known as unattianableium ( or something like that because it is unattainable) but the NATIVES are getting in the way. Well I think it was a corporate venture that was hiring war vets and army jawns. The scientist on the project are all about working things out but this army guy (not the handsome one the old cranky bitch ass) just wants to blow crap up and take things by force. Its pretty much the human history of attaining many things but with a sci-fi twist. Like when they found gold in the west and just forced all of the natives from there. Or the oil situation. Or any situation where a stronger power wants something from some other power. It was kinda a bummer, but you know in movies the good always wins so yea ( or at least in movies).

My mom actually got me some gifts! I was not expecting this. I am pretty excited. Geof is just eating his bone and being oblivious to life. He is licking the remote to the tv. Always licking things, he is so weird!

Dirty Dishes.

Pretty self-explanatory. Most of the time the "clean" plates, pots, utensils, etc. still have food on them. Wash your shit the right way. Ignore that shit about the plastic tub though, fuck all that. And wring out the sponge when youre done so that it doesnt smell like Hand On Face's breath.

Wash all surfaces of whatever youre washing too, not just the the top or inside. Almost everything gets stacked and its just putting dirty shit onto clean shit if you dont wash everything.

SPACE HEATER

For those of you concerned, I finally got a space heater and now it is nice to be in my room once again (Thanks to Smyth for driving to Target and Emily for letting me sleep in her bed when I was too cold).

Anyway, I would say it's Typical Sunday (you know, bloody marys and all that) but it hasn't been Typical so far. I kind of got blown out last week with all the free mimosas and the woodchucks and notorious and spanish noodles and dollar beers. So I just had a good breakfast at Morning Glory (MoGlo) with BHaubs and I think we're going to have a crafty afternoon at the house when Emily and Allie get in from Jersey.

It's raining and gray and cold out but I've got some good lighting going on in my room and it's pretty cosy in here. OKAY LATER.

TONIGHTS HIGHLIGHT:

Also, I just watched a beautiful movie, it was sad. I hate sad movies but secretly I think I love them. I also really like being awake at 3 am. Not shabby. I wonder if anyone else is going to update this thing soon. Bill?

HOUSE PARTY

A new season but nothing new to add on here. The spotlight of my life right now is NUTELLA LATTES from Chapter House. The mood there is very cozy. Chilly weather also means more movies. I have seen a few movies in the past week. Here I am just gonna review them, Alaina style.

PAPRIKA
This movie was off the hook and some what mind blowing. The whole concept is pretty interesting. Long story short, A genius comes up with a machine called the DC Mini that can link two people to share and interact in the same dream. Then someone steals one the machines and starts creating chaos. Chaos is a great word for it. The animation is just damn good.

WATER LILIES

So, I had no idea what this movie was going to be about. I thought it was a coming of age story like Now and Then or something. Not even close! Water Lilies is full of that teen age year sexual tension, boys, hormones, virginity loss, friendship and bitches. Marie, the most awkward character, develops a girl crush on Florianne the swim teams captain and whispered slut. Florianne on the other hand is dealing with the pressure of seeing a boy who thinks she is a slut and wants the good, and she is afraid of what he will think when he finds out she is a OMG VIRGIN. Then there is Marie's B.F.F sweet Anne, who is determined to get her fist kiss ( or bump and grind) from the hormonal Fracoise ( a boy). Throughout the movie you see the relationships grow into.....I am not going to spoil the plot. Water Lilies was decent but it made me feel really sad and I doubt I will watch it again.

THE MUMMY THREE
They got rid of my favorite person in the cast, I knew from the first 5 minutes that it was going to blow. I felt like I died a little inside and wanted to kill myself a little. It was so bad Bill fell asleep waiting to see the end.

Wow updating a blog takes a bit to do it is 2 am not. Let me leave you with something. I started updating my secret art blog. Here is a link >>>>>>>>>> HERE

Bill suggested doing it the weekend before because he'll be away the weekend of Halloween. ALSO, this will cut out any competition.

As for dance area, I think the storefront would be most comfortable to dance, however a dank basement seems most fitting atmospherically.

Who wants to smoke some dank? LET'S GET WEEDED. POKE SMOT.

The Ghost Baby Keeps ME AWAKE

Also, Check out Brad I don't know how to spell his last name's link on the side there. One of my favorite people in Philly! (not a resident of the 764 house but I sure do wish he was) This guys got talent ranging from being el president to the power hour shouting guy. I am also honored and stoked beyond because I may or may not be working on a secret or not so secret project with him. Kate, another roommate I adore is also a part of this secret project. Don't forget Kate!

Dead Michael Jackson Jokes

Hello anyone who might happen to read this. It is almost 7 a.m and everyone will be rising for work soon(except me I have yet to fall). The weather is mostly thundering. I am not sure how it is visually. I just wanted to treat you all to a little eye candy from our recent endeavors, and a hint of what's to come. Rob has been sick and now Bill is, there is no other explanation for this except for the obvious curse of the baby ghost. I hear little pitter patters sometimes. I hope he is not unhappy about our plans for a certain spooky month.

some weirdo asleep on our couch because he does not love Bill as much as I do

Mr. Popular
Geoffrey about to go to the BONE ZONE

let me just say you all better have really good Halloween costumes!

WILD SUMMER

Well it is almost the end of summer and I hope that means we will post more. I know I will! Unless I forget this exists. There is a new addition to the 764 house and we are all stoked about it. Matt Lowe is now the 8th room mate. I hope this does not anger the ghost baby because he has been pretty relaxed about things these days. Its been a great summer with lots of grilling and hot dogs but were ready to take on the winter. I am thinking house snuggies. WHOS IN!

Lil' Heebs

So, the 2009 summer camp production of Fiddler on the Roof was a smashing success. The kids totally looked like little Russian Jew folk from a century ago. The 9 yr old who played the lead even had a thick, unintelligible Russian accent that made up for the fact that he didn't understand most of the play's content. (Pogrom? L'Chaim? Reb Tevye? Actually, that last one was his character's name.) Seriously, this was probably the worst possible choice that could have been made for a summer camp play, IF the intention was for the kids to have any fun at all. But, they did a great job nonetheless, were pretty cute, and convincingly jewy. I feel like this play choice was a cheap shot. Anyway, it's over, and I'll be home tomorrow. YESSS

A Short House Update

So I haven't posted in a while. We had a party for Boydo's birthday Saturday night which was pretty fun. Power hour was hosted by none other than DJ Swallow the Roach. And while it may not have been the most successful power hour - the prizes were pretty top notch. D. Hughes walked away with a football hacky sack. What more can I say? Oh and plenty of hot dogs were eaten and a lot of Mountain Crest was drank.

The house communication outlets (internet, cable and phone) are now set up so expect a party line.

Now for the question of the week. Which would you rather see in our backyard - a trampoline, baby pool or mini ramp?

Geoffrey's Haircut

Burrito Mohawk

Well I have been out of town and out of reach of blogging and I am so bummed to see no one has been posting. I understand though life is more fun than the internet. It's to be back home after a week of vacation to find my room mates being  just as rad as they were when I left.
We totally have cable now and a house phone. Do people still have those these days? Emily, Bill and I went on a shopping spree. It started with just burritos then we moved on to shampoo and then BAM we have a shelf. Oh and check out the new hair doo Emily and I gave Geoffrey!

It goes all the way down his back.

Hopefully something will be popping off with the store front soon. We just need motivation magic.

It's always fun to get away from camp

Even for an hour.

Alaina's right, I won't be around for another 5 weeks because I'm busy doing this in North Jers:

But I'd like to have a beeday partay Sat, Aug 1st if that's okay with the general house population - and if the general friend population would like to attend such a gathering.

Time Machine

Well all the room mates are off doing God knows what. Romping around and having fun. On a saturday? I came home from work with nothing to do and my phone is still broke. Bill was home chilling in the living room (like he described in his first post). I invited him on a trip to I goldberg to score some G.I joe army goods. Well one thing led to another and we ended up taking a trip to Brave World?Comics! STOKED! Today was great. I bought the first series of Danger Girl and Bill bought 4 comics. Ashley Emily and Kate are in N.J having a fabulous girls night out, I wish I could be there but I am digging the comics.

Summertime Clothes

After exploiting Baby Ghost's existence on an Internet blog, I woke up with a mysterious bruise on my foot. Moral of the story is ghost can read blogs and lurk the internet. Anyways I would like to do an introductory post too after seeing Bills but I am lazy at this moment in time. I would like to see some though from other room mates and maybe by then I will have the motivation. I will instead tell you that there is a game of asshole going on downstairs. I do not know where bill is. Our pug loving roomie Liz is back in town. I hope she blogs about life at camp. I always imagine it's like Wet Hot American Summer but I don't know. We are just going to have to wait for her to make an appearance!  OH and maybe they should talk about how awesome Chicken ate the Dog is.

The Curse

There were rumors of the ghostly kind floating around when we first moved here. I laughed at them and thought about how exciting it would be if that were a real possibility. Hah, a ghost? Well maybe I was wrong in my disbelief, after all it is Philadelphia. I am sure this city has a lot of ghost. Including our 2 ghost cats.

It all started yesterday when I developed symptoms of what I though was the common cold. As soon as I came home to the house it hit me hard and before I could think about what to with my day I was passed out drooling in my bed. I woke up later feeling a break from the blinding headache I dozed off with. After a fun hour or so of wii action with Kate and Brendon I fell ill again and called it a night. I wish I did not wake up but I did. I went downstairs and used the closet bathroom with the broken light. It is not that scary when your half asleep. Though that may have been the window that let in the curse. It was 3 am after all ( the "devil's hour"). I wish I had slept like a baby and woke up feeling great but no. After the first waking I fell back asleep. The second time I woke up burning up and all my muscles in pain and the most horrible headache I have ever experienced in my entire life. I did not want to open my eyes. After multiple wake ups to the same thing I came to the conclusion that I may have been possessed by the notorious Ghost Baby. He was reaching up from his hellish  ghost baby crib. That is the only way to explain the hot burning of my body. I finally fell into a sleep that was not deep but good enough. I woke up the next day, dragged myself to a dental appointment, and returned to the house. To my surprise our guard dog, Geoffrey, had puked all over his little room. The Ghost Baby curse strikes again. As I write this our poor Geoffrey has lost all his spunk that he is know and loved for. All that can save him now is some good rest, or an exorcism.

The Tale

Once upon a time there were seven kids living in a giant house in the middle of the Italian Market. Their parents were nowhere to be found and the kids made a home for themselves in the old haunted mansion. The seven kids came from all over the entire world. Three were from Pennsyltranslvania, one came all the way from Mary Land and three were from the New World of Jersey. They also had two sneaky ghost cats and a huge scary guard dog named Geoff.

This is their blog. Their story is one that is exciting and unpredictable. Anything can happen in the old haunted mansion and it will all be documented right here. Stay tuned.
